Dulag 142 is a unique facility, it is the first and only complex of a former concentration camp in the Russian Federation that has received the status of an object of federal significance.

On the territory of repair base No. 6, located in the village of Uritsky, from October 1941 to early September 1943, there was a large German concentration camp, officially named Dulag 142

Initially, Dulag 142 was intended for captured soldiers of the Red Army, but starting in March 1942, civilians from villages and villages adjacent to Bryansk began to be driven here in order to clean up areas with high partisan activity

Dulag 142 served as a collection point, from where the able-bodied population was driven to forced labor in Germany. At the same time, up to 80,000 people were accommodated in the Dulag. 40,000 prisoners died from shootings and bullying, famine and epidemics and were buried in mass graves in the camp.
