Buzinov Vadim Nikolaevich - born in 1922, a native of the village of Bezhitsa, now a district of Bryansk. In the army since February 1940. Graduate and instructor of the Chuguev Military Aviation School. At the front since July 1943, flight commander, navigator and deputy commander, squadron commander of the 148th Fighter Aviation Regiment. He fought on the Bryansk, 2nd Baltic and Leningrad fronts. Participant of the Oryol, Rezhitsko-Dvina and Riga operations. He flew 160 sorties on a Yak-9 fighter, conducted 22 air battles, shot down 16 enemy aircraft, one balloon and destroyed one aircraft on the ground.|
On August 18, 1945, he was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for exemplary performance of the command's combat missions and the courage and heroism shown at the same time.
