Alexandrov also contributed to the great Victory of the Soviet

people! During the Great Patriotic War, 26 thousand

Alexandrovites left to fight (half did not return), 9 of them were awarded the title of Hero

Soviet Union: P. I. Galin, N. P. Gusev, P. S. Dokuchaev, F. A. Ermakov,

N. G. Molev, A. A. Perfiliev, I. I. Proshin, A. P. Chulkov and S. M. Shuvalov.

More than 10 thousand Alexandrovites were awarded the medal "For Valiant

Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".

During the war, the railway transport center worked smoothly
