The Battle of Kursk was a turning point in the Second World War. The Soviet troops defeated Hitler's army and went on the offensive. The Fascists planned to strike Kursk from Kharkov and Orel, defeat the Soviet troops and rush south. But, fortunately for all of us, the plans of the Third Reich were not destined to come true. From July 5 to July 12, 1943, the struggle for every piece of Soviet land continued. After the victory at Kursk, the Soviet troops went on the offensive, and this continued until the end of the war.

The Orel-Kursk Arc is one of the central events of the Great Patriotic War. The fighting along the battlefront was bloody. Monuments to Soviet soldiers can be erected in almost every village

The Battle of Kursk, which lasted for almost 50 fiery days and nights, went down in history as one of the most important events of the Great Patriotic War. It became a turning point in the course of the fighting. After the defeat of the German troops at Kursk and Orel
